If you’re looking for a low annual fee, no frills credit card, this could be the card for you. Added to the low fees is the simple and standard convenience of visa acceptance at over 24 million locations worldwide and 24/7 Falcon round the clock security for suspicious transactions.

Benefit of the Card’s Best Features?

This card’s best feature is its simplicity and low annual fee of only $0 p.a.. Interest rates of 19.24% p.a. on purchases and 20.99% p.a. on cash advances are comparable to other similar cards. They’re not great rates but if you pay off your card each month, that’s not a problem!

Additionally, you get the standard 44 days interest free on purchases, you get to design your own card, you have access to special offers from Visa Entertainment and if you’re a new applicant, you get to enjoy a very low 0% p.a. for 3 months for balance transfers.

Are There Any Drawbacks?

This card has the basics and offers a low annual fee with standard rates but is certainly limited in the way of fancy features. You don’t earn points toward anything, you don’t get emergency card replacement, access to fancy services or round the clock access to a representative if you need to talk to someone. Saying that, you might not need those things so don’t let that discourage you from a more than adequate card for standard daily use.

Who Would be Suited?

This card would work well for the low income earner (minimum $15,000) who simply needs a credit card for everyday, basic use. It’s got the security, convenience and rates to give you the support you need to make your everyday purchases & pay bills.

Who is Eligible?

To be eligible for the ANZ First Visa Card, you must be over 18 years of age, have a good credit rating, be a permanent Australian resident, earning a minimum taxable income of $15,000. If you are a non-permanent Australian resident you must earn a minimum of $50,000.
