Get your Frequent Flyer Points balance started today! Earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points from your everyday credit purchases and start climbing the point’s ladder towards your next holiday. You can take the express route to some great Frequent Flyer points just by signing up for this ANZ Frequent Flyer Credit Card deal. With ANZ’s Frequent Flyer Credit card deal you’ll receive two cards (VISA and American Express) but will enjoy the simplicity and convenience of one account, one annual fee, one monthly statement and one credit card limit.

Benefits of This Credit Card?

You get to use your Visa card and grow your points balance in 24 million locations worldwide. You can benefit from unlimited earning potential when using your ANZ FF American Express and can expect decent point-earning ratios with 1 point per $2 spent on the Visa card and a very competitive 1 point per $1 spent on the American Express Card. A fairly low annual fee of $95 p.a. is also a benefit and points earned get automatically transferred to your Qantas account so there’s no added administration to do.

What Are the Drawbacks?

The card has a slightly shorter interest free period (Up to 44 days instead of 55 on most other similar cards). There’s no cap put on the amount of Qantas Frequent Flyer points you can potentially earn, the only limitation will be the credit limit that ANZ set for you. One thing you always have to remember is that rates on frequent flyer credit cards are higher than the average. If you don’t pay off your credit card bill each month, you’ll lose out on the value of those points because you’ll be paying loads of interest.

Who Would be Suited?

If you’re looking to earn some free flights while you spend and are good at keeping on top of your spending and bills, this could be a good way to earn some excellent points. You have to have a Qantas Frequent Flyer account already (which is standard fare for almost all frequent flyer cards) but if you aren’t a Qantas member then there’s an $82.50 fee to pay separately to Qantas. You should sign up with Qantas before signing up for the card.

Who is Eligible?

To be eligible for the ANZ Frequent Flyer, you must be over 18 years of age, have a good credit rating, be a permanent Australian resident, earning a minimum income of $15,000. If you are a non-permanent Australian resident you must earn a minimum of $50,000. You can apply simply and easily online.
