Are There Any Drawback’s? 

The main issue with the Citi Select credit card is the interest rate, which standing at a princely 20.74% p.a. is quite high. Having said that, the card does come with 55 days interest free on all purchases, so long as you pay the balance in full at the end of the month. And while there’s a balance transfer offer, at 6.9% p.a. for 9 months there are cheaper deals around that will see you paying a lot less interest.

Who would be Suited?

The Citi Select account is best suited to high earners and big spenders who can justify the $700 p.a. annual management fee. If you enjoy the best in life, and want access to exclusive events and discounts then this is the card for you.

Who is Eligible?

The Select card isn’t for everyone, as you can tell by the fact that you need to be earning $120,000 and have excellent credit.
