If you’re looking for a credit card with some phenomenally low rates, loaded with extras, security and plenty of flexibility to suit your needs, check out the NAB Gold credit card.

Benefit of the Card’s Best Features?

By far the best feature of this card is the unheard of balance transfer and purchase rate of 1.00% p.a. for 12 months.

The extras you get with the NAB Gold Card also make it a really good one. These include an additional card holder at no extra cost, the option of earning FlyBuys points with everyday purchases, 3 complimentary insurances (overseas travel, purchase protection and extended warranty insurance), you get complimentary VIP Lost Card Cover for 12 months, the choice of MasterCard or Visa Card, emergency assistance, secure online shopping and a pretty low annual fee of $90 p.a..

Lastly you also get access to a range of special offers on shows, events, experiences and movies from either Visa Entertainment or MasterCard applause and access to NAB Cellar Selections – your gateway to 400+ Australian wine producers, brought to you by Wine Selectors.

Are There Any Drawbacks?

The low rates do revert back to more standard rates of 4.99% p.a for balance transfers and 19.74% p.a. on purchases after the introductory period is over. Always make sure you regularly make your repayments because even the best card will cost you if you’re not on top of these.

Who Would be Suited?

If you’re a mid to high income earner who travels, enjoys online shopping and some of the finer things in life like good wine and entertainment, you could make some great savings with the included insurances and special offers. Additionally if you appreciate flexibility, convenience and security, this card could work really well for you. Just make sure that the $90 p.a. fee is worth your while by ensuring you’ll be saving more than that each year by using the card. If you apply online you’ll get a response within 60 seconds and if your application is accepted you will receive your NAB Gold Card within 5 working days.
